Genuine spare part

A door interlock is an electronic device that is designed to give a time delay of approximately 2 minutes before the door of your washing machine can be opened once the wash/drying cycle has competed.
The common fault when a door interlock fails is that the washing machine will not start. There will be power to the washing machine, which is can sometimes be ascertained by the light (if present) being lit up on the front fascia panel. However, when the door is closed and the wash/drying cycle is selected and started the machine will appear 'dead'.
If the door for your washing machine is no longer locking so it's not starting, then you may have a faulty door interlock.
This replacement door interlock could ensure you are once again able to use your washing machine as normal, with the door remaining securely fastened by your new interlock.
Please check model fit list to ensure this part is correct for your model.
