The Heater & NTC is an essential component of your washing machine!

Wash elements are used to heat water to the selected washing machine temperature. However, they can often fail over time; you will notice this when your clothes aren’t being cleaned and your water is not heating up.

This replacement heater also includes the NTC a resistor that changes its electrical resistance at varying temperatures. A NTC is used in the washing machine as a thermostat or temperature sensitive safety cut out device. If the NTC has gone faulty it could cause the machine to not give any temperature readings or give incorrect ones. If it no longer registers any temperature change the washing machine could overheat.

If your washing machine is struggling to heat water, or is heating the water erratically, then there may be a problem with the heating element.
