HEPA (High Efficient Particle Arrester) filters trap very small dust particles, so they are better for homes with allergy sufferers.

A lot of dirt, dust and debris are lifted off your surfaces when using a vacuum cleaner and the last you would expect is the debris to be exhausted back into the airstream.

If you find that dust is escaping your cleaner, then the filter may be clogged and if this happens the vacuum cleaners motor can become overheated as dust particles are not filtered out and make their way into the motor.

To ensure the performance of your cleaner, we recommend that you wash this HEPA filter each time the dust container is emptied. Filters should be replaced at least twice a year or when they become visibly soiled.
