The cooker should switch off when a set temperature is reached this is thanks to the thermal limiter or thermal cut-out as it can be called.

If the cooker continues to get hotter other faults may occur or the safety of your cooker could be compromised. If the existing thermal cut-out is no longer working then replace it with this genuine part to restore your cooking.

Once repaired you can continue to use your cooker.
