This washing machine drain pump recirculates water in your machine and drains it away.

The drain pump can often get blocked or damaged due to heavily soiled clothing and it is advised that you clean the pump out on a regular basis. This drain pump can usually be accessed from the front of the machine in the bottom corner.

If the water is not draining from your washing machine, then it may be time to replace the drain pump.
