Product Description
A door interlock is an electronic device that is designed to give a time delay of approximately 2 minutes before the door of your appliance can be opened once the cycle has competed. The door interlocks should be checked regularly to ensure that they are working correctly.
Faulty door interlock?
The common fault when a door interlock fails is that the machine will not start. There will be power to the machine, which is can sometimes be assertained by the light (if present) being lit up on the front facia panel. However, when the door is closed and the cycle is selected, the machine will appear 'dead'.
Suitable for select Ariston, Creda, Hotpoint and Indesit models.
