Brandt, De-Dietrich, Ocean Electrode - 600mm

Your hob uses the Electrode to produce the final spark at the burner, helping ignite the gas and light the flame. The igniter heats up until it's white-hot to ignite the gas from the burner. It's wired with the safety gas valve and won’t open unless it detects that the igniter is hot enough to light the burner gas. Replace a damaged or faulty electrode using this genuine part if your existing electrode doesn't glow when activated or if it doesn't get hot enough to trigger the gas valve to open.
