The Dough Blade is unsuitable for yeasted mixes, and may produce coarser doughs than are desired. If a smooth, even mix is necessary for an elastic-feeling dough, the Dough Blade is the ideal tool. Using the wrong tool in your food processor can produce incorrect results as well as potentially damaging your processor's drive system if the resistance that meets the processor is incorrect.

This Dough Blade is made with tough plastic, making it ideal for kneading bread dough, pasta dough, brioche and pastry.
