If the gas burners are not igniting it could be down to a faulty or damaged ignition lead.

The hob igniter heats up until it's white-hot to ignite the gas from the oven burner. It's wired with the safety gas valve for your burner and won’t open unless it detects that the igniter is hot enough to light the burner gas.

Replace a damaged or faulty ignition spark plug using this genuine part if your existing plug work when activated or if it doesn't get hot enough to trigger the gas valve to open.
