The vacuum filtering process is simple; firstly the particles picked up by your cleaner are pre-filtered thanks to this pre motor filter. The purpose of the pre-motor filter is to intercept the air before it moves to your cleaner's motor.

A blocked, worn or damaged motor protection filter can cause the vacuum cleaners motor to become overheated, as the dust particles are not filtered out as they make their way into the motor.
