Specification:

• The plastic Heat Shield protects the motor against the steam generated during cooking. It must be fitted on the machine while using the temperature control, otherwise an error code appears and the heat function doesn’t work.
• If necessary both the heat shield and the splashguard can be fitted to retain ingrediants in the bowl - for example, when mixing light ingredients such as flour & icing sugar, or when cooking ingredients where moisture needs to be retained in the bowl
